How does the "Sign me in automatically" work?
The "Sign me in automatically" is optional, it saves your username and password on your computer and every time you access the page you will be automatically logged in.
What happens if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, please click on the 'Forgot your Password?' link of the front of the directory or on the sponsor login page. The password recovery email will be sent to the email address provided from your Contact Information. The email will contain a link which will redirect the user to the 'Manage Account' section, where the password can be updated.
How can I change my password?
After you are logged in, click on 'Account Settings' link, you will see the "Current Password" field, type your current password in this field and your new password on the fields "Password" and "Retype Password", then hit the submit button.
Am I required to have an account to add items to the site?
Yes. In order to add a profile or use the classified section you must have an account.
How can I sign up for an account?
Click on the navigation bar and select your category. Click on the drop down link to fill out a profile Or create a dental office account
Why am I receiving an 'Account Locked' message?
If you attempt to access your account and type in an incorrect password 5 times the account will lock for 1 hour. This is for security reasons.
Am I able to work for other agencies and be on your site?
Yes! We want you to use every opportunity available to find employment.
What if an office wants to hire me as a permanent staff member? What do I do?
Congratulations on your new job!! If you would like to keep your profile active and pick up extra shifts just remember to update your calendar. If you would like to remove your listing please contact us at info@thedensmiles.com .
What if I can only work a few days a month?
You are your own boss! Set up your calendar to reflect your availability. NO pressure to add extra days. YOU control your schedule.
Who schedules my bookings?
The dental professional schedules ALL bookings. Offices reach out to the dental professional directly. They control whether they want to accept the booking or decline the booking
Is there a fee to hire the dental professional permanently?
NO, there are no contract buyouts on our site. Congratulations !! Thank you for choosing us to help connect you with your new team member.
Do dental professionals have to get a background checks?
We strongly recommend that you pay the additional fee for the background check. This adds additional security for the offices when they search for their new team member.
How does the dental professional get paid?
It is the job of the office and dental professional to adhere to state employment laws. We do not offer any tax or legal counseling. Please consult a tax professional and your state employment guidelines.
What if I want to hire a dental professional but they did not purchase a background check?
You can request that they have one completed before you hire them. It is the office's responsibility to thoroughly screen their new employee. Dental Explorer Network checks all of their professional credentials before we activate their profile.
